Advocating for and honoring local Indiana musicians, producers and music educators since 2001.

Founded in 2001, the Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association is a registered 501 C3 not for profit organization established to honor the exemplary musicians who have resided, and performed music locally in southeastern Indiana, including Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland and Franklin counties, for at least 15 years and have contributed to the cultural growth of music in the community. 

We are fundamentally focused on documenting our areas' rich musical heritage and promoting music awareness, music appreciation, and music education within the southeastern Indiana community.

Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association Hall of Fame Ceremony and Awards Concert Announced

The Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association (SEIMA) announces its annual Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony and Concert will be taking place on Saturday November 4 th 2023 at the Gibson Theater in Batesville 6pm. The awards show will feature live performances and a night of story-telling by hosts and inductees. This year’s event will feature performances by local favorites My Brother’s Keeper, along with a special performance by Jamie Johnson (of the Grascals) and Dennis Parker from (Ricky Skaggs/Kentucky Thunder) and more! This year’s ceremony marks a special celebration inducting musicians and music educators for the class of 2023.

Southeastern Indiana Musician’s Association 2023 SEIMA Project Grant Winners Announced.

The Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association Inc. is pleased to announce the winners of our 2023 SEIMA Project. The SEIMA Project is a music grant initiative created by the organization in an effort to subsidize and promote the next generation of musicians in each of the five counties we represent, Dearborn, Ripley, Franklin, Ohio, and Switzerland for young musicians ages 14-19 years old.
