Founding Father of Southeastern Indiana Musician’s Association Passes

It is with sadness to announce the passing of our founder, 1st president, and dear friend Ken Jackson.

Ken founded the Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association in 2001 and served in many capacities including our first president and was inducted into The SEIMA Hall of Fame in 2006.

In addition to his music contributions in Southeastern Indiana, Ken was very active with many community organizations and activities as well as helping our veterans.

Ken's son, Andy, is the Treasurer for SEIMA.

The SEIMA Board of Directors send our thoughts and prayers to Ken's wife, Frances; 8 children; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends who love Ken.

Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home in Moores Hill is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

The Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association is forever grateful to Ken and his vision to start the organization and Hall of Fame. Without Ken Jackson; there would be no SEIMA. He will be sorely missed.
